My Story

I spent the first portion of my career in Corporate Communications where I worked on a wide array of print and digital projects. I gained an immense amount of knowledge about the design process on everything from developing a concept to delivering a final product. I worked on numerous corporate and marketing campaigns, website redesigns and managed a small team of designers. This is also where I realized the importance of community engagement and learned that the power of design can make the world a better place.

In 2015, I achieved my greatest accomplishment yet … the birth of my beautiful twin boys. In search of a more accommodating schedule for the twin mom life, I left the corporate world and embarked on a new entrepreneurial adventure and the stage was set for Calia Creative to come to life. I haven’t looked back since.
